“Creed” star Michael B. Jordan is listing his Los Angeles home for $12.995 million, according to listing agent Andrew Mortaza of The Agency.
The eight-bedroom, roughly 12,300-square-foot estate is located in Encino’s pricey Royal Estates neighborhood, said Mr. Mortaza, who has the listing with colleague Bryan Castaneda.
Mr. Jordan purchased the home for $12.51 million in May 2022 and spent about half a million dollars upgrading the property’s security and air conditioning systems, said Mr. Mortaza.
Built in 2021, the estate has a gym with a hot tub, a home theater with a concession stand, a glass-enclosed wine room and an elevator, said Mr. Mortaza. The primary bedroom suite has two oversized walk-in closets. “That’s the biggest ‘wow’ factor for people when they walk through,” he said.
The roughly half-acre lot also has a two-story guesthouse, a stand-alone massage room, a pool, an outdoor kitchen and a cabana with a fireplace, said Mr. Mortaza. He said he doesn’t know why Mr. Jordan is selling.
Mr. Jordan, star of the “Creed” and “Black Panther” films, is set to appear in “Creed III,” which he directed, later this year. He is also co-founder of the marketing company Obsidianworks.
The median sale price in Encino was about $1.18 million in November, down 6.2% from the same month of 2021, according to the real-estate brokerage Redfin.
