After a two-week Olympic hiatus, the Cup Series is back at Richmond Raceway, and with the playoffs quickly approaching, every race matters. Drivers that are on the verge of the playoffs, like Bubba Wallace, wearing No. 23, are all focused on winning to guarantee their positions. Wallace’s pit crew presents a challenging obstacle in spite of his speed.

For a large portion of the opening stage at Richmond, Wallace was running strongly in fifth place. However, as the second stage progressed, an excruciatingly sluggish pit stop cost him dearly, causing him to fall outside the top 15 and out of the lead group.

This setback comes just as Bubba Wallace has been finding his rhythm, recently finishing 5th at the legendary Brickyard 400. With the playoffs on the line, Wallace desperately needs a solid finish at Richmond, especially since he’s just below the cutoff line, trailing Ross Chastain.

It’s got to be infuriating for Wallace, doing everything right on the track, only to be let down by his crew. Fans on Reddit didn’t hold back their anger either, venting their frustration at the #23 team’s pit stop woes.
