The implosion of The Judgment Day has wreaked havoc on the faction as it was known. The Terror Twins are now out for the betrayals of their comrades and will not rest until they get revenge.

WWE SummerSlam 2024 triggered the end of a version of The Judgment Day that won practically everything. After a novel that began with Rhea Ripley ‘s absence due to injury, Dominik Mysterio did everything he could to regain Mami’s trust when she returned, as she had been running away from Liv Morgan for several weeks. Despite Dom publicly expressing his hatred towards Morgan, everything indicates that it was a setup to make Ripley feel comfortable and betray her in the worst possible way.
“The Eradicator” then arrived confidently in Cleveland looking to regain the Women’s World Title. And although it seemed that Dom was helping her by preventing her from using a chair against her rival so as not to let her lose, “The Dirty One” did his thing by distracting the referee, so that, finally, the chair served Liv as a weapon to win the fight. After the fight, Dominik Mysterio approached to help Liv Morgan, kissed her and left the venue with her, all before the eyes of a devastated Rhea Ripley.
Not everything was as it should have been for SummeSlam: Cleveland , as Damian Priest was finishing a tough test against Gunther in his quest to retain the World Heavyweight Title, when Finn Bálor appeared, apparently, to provide emotional support to his partner. However, the Irishman ended up helping the “Ring General” avoid his defeat, something that opened the door for the Austrian to reach the top of the world.
During WWE RAW ( August 5, 2024 ), “The Prince” declared that he waited patiently to betray ‘his brother’, still hurt because Priest cost him his title match at last year ‘s SummerSlam, introducing the new version of The Judgment Day made up of himself, JD McDonagh, Carlito, Dominik Mysterio & Liv Morgan . Officially, Rhea Ripley & Damian Priest were out of the faction and Bálor assured Priest that he would be his shadow to stab him in the back over and over again.
Rhea Ripley & Damian Priest set a trap for Dominik Mysterio & Liv Morgan during WWE RAW ( August 12, 2024 ) to get their hands on them and begin the hunt against the new The Judgment Day. Ripley ended up chasing Morgan around the arena, while Priest took Dom to the center of the ring only to be attacked by the rest of TJD. After Damian defeated Carlito, Finn Bálor & Dom led an attack from behind on Priest, and although Rhea came back to corner the Irishman, Priest was unable to attack him because JD put his chest to the bullets for his partner. Dominik was at the mercy of a “Riptide” from Rhea, but Liv rescued him in time.
Later, it was made official that The Terror Twins will face Dominik Mysterio & Liv Morgan in a Mixed Tag Team Match . Rhea Ripley confessed backstage that when they face each other in Berlin, Dom will not be able to escape the punishment he deserves and Damian assured that they will not take it easy and the pain they will feel will be incalculable. Despite Rhea & Damian’s confidence, they cannot forget that Finn Bálor and company will also be waiting for an opportunity to continue attacking. Who will return home with victory in their possession?
