Since I enjoyed expressing my thoughts so much the last time, I was thrilled to create the trailer for High School Musical 4. To keep things new, Troy and Gabriella are not separated and are not seeking a reunion this time. They are still united in the concept series for the first time. Troy is seen making pizza as Act 1 opens with them at their home. Gabriella continues, “We have a guest coming soon.” which makes this the ideal moment to get everyone together. I created a housewarming party invitation and sent it to Chad, who saw it on his phone. I got the idea from a video that showed Venessa Hudgens giving a tour of her home. so making it about Troy and Gabriella’s housewarming celebration would be ideal. Troy then pops the question to Gabriella in front of their other high school students, capping off Act 1.

Act 2 is showing Troy and Gabriella getting married. The challenge for the trailer is finding clips for the cast except for Zack Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. Zack has many commercials which worked great. For example the beginning scene showing Troy cooking pizza, is from a video of him cooking. Vanessa has great clips from Princes Switch, including the scene of her looking like she is getting married which I connected with clips of wedding scene from Crazy Rich Asians. I made sure to add as much of the original cast as possible since this is a class reunion. The turn out of was good, the trailer was awesome thanks to clips available. Given another chance I would dive into Troy’s career as NBA player.
