Conor McGregor confirms another UFC comeback delay as he tells Logan Paul date for octagon return

Conor McGregor’s return to the octagon looks to be facing yet another delay as he informed Logan Paul of a date even later than Dana White’s most pessimistic projection.

The Irishman was caught sitting next to Logan and his brother Jake Paul as well as their mum Pam Stepnick on the way to president Donald Trump’s inauguration on Monday. The Irishman taunted both siblings as he declared they were mere ‘side jobs’ and that he would slap them both, as well as KSI.

Conor McGregor names November as date for UFC comeback

In the latest episode of Logan Paul’s vlog, Conor McGregor finally came head-to-head with the American amid talks of a fight between the pair. Back in December, the Irishman made headlines when he declared that there were preliminary agreements in place for a boxing match in India against the elder Paul.

And while those talks are still ongoing, the pair seemed cordial when they met for the first time on Monday in Washington, DC. They shared verbal jabs, with McGregor noting that both Logan and Jake, as well as their YouTube boxing compatriot KSI, were mere ‘side jobs’.

However, when Logan joked that he is struggling to even get to his regular job these days, McGregor let slip that he should keep an eye out for a November date. “That’s a good one,” he admitted before telling the social media star “November, stay tuned”.

Dana White had previously stated Conor McGregor would be back in Fall of 2025

The date being so late is even less ambitious than UFC boss Dana White, who is usually the one pouring cold water on McGregor’s comeback plans. As recently as last week, the American was telling media that he expects a comeback in the Fall of this year, which would actually be before the touted date.

During an episode of Barstool Sports’ Pardon My Take, White laughed off the idea of a Paul and McGregor fight, before answering that he would “Eventually,” be back this year.. “Hopefully Conor McGregor returns in the Fall of this year.”

McGregor has said that he plans to box Paul first, before getting back in the octagon. But presuming that highly unlikely boxing match doesn’t happen, it adds another ten months to his time away from the sport and brings him beyond four years since he last fought.
