A waterfront home has just popped up for sale in downtown Baltimore, and it has a history as juicy as a made-for-TV movie.
It all started when Kevin Spacey picked up the place via an LLC in 2017 for $5.6 million. After first denying he was the rightful owner of the property, the Oscar-winning actor subsequently admitted it was his. In 2024, though, he fell behind on mortgage payments due to debt accrued while fighting a slew of 𝑠e𝑥ual misconduct allegations. The multistory spread then went into foreclosure before selling at auction to local real estate investor Sam Asgari for $3.2 million.
Though Spacey didn’t seem to want to move out and made some noise about it being “improperly sold at auction,” Asgari filed to evict and was ultimately allowed to keep the residence. Now it’s on the market for a smidge under $6 million. Sam Sheibani of Compass holds the listing, which is being touted as The Icon of Baltimore.

Occupying a pair of connected townhouse-like structures within the gated Pier Homes at HarborView community and resting at the end of a lengthy pier with water on three sides, the updated abode offers six bedrooms and nine baths in roughly 9,000 square feet over five levels accessible via a spiral staircase and glass-paneled elevator. Floor-to-ceiling walls of glass and multiple terraces also offer up sweeping Inner Harbor and city lights vistas.
Highlights include a sprawling open-concept great room holding a spacious fireside living area that flows to a dining area equipped with a built-in buffet. Opposite is a lounging spot warmed by a fireplace and an eat-in kitchen sporting top-tier Viking appliances, while an upstairs primary suite features a walk-in closet with laundry facilities and a luxe bath boasting a glassy two-person shower.

Elsewhere is a sauna, an office nook, a nine-seat movie theater, and a wet bar-equipped game room, as well as a 76-foot rooftop deck with panoramic views and a couple of two-car garages down below. Rounding it all out are plenty of community amenities, which include 24-hour security, a pool, a fitness center, a marina, an Italian deli and market, and a private dog park.
