Tyson and Paris Fury joined members of their family to celebrate son Adonis’ sixth birthday at Blackpool’s Pleasure Beach Resort
Tyson and Paris Fury were caught up in the celebratory spirit for their son’s birthday this weekend, taking to Blackpool’s Pleasure Beach Resort. The Gypsy King was seen enjoying the thrills of the theme park, which kicked off its full opening for the first time this year, just as the resort anticipates a ‘very exciting’ 12 months ahead.
Along with family members including brother Shane, Tyson and Paris marked their third child Adonis’ sixth birthday on Saturday (March 1), with little Prince Rico Paris Fury, their seventh child, having arrived in September 2023. Amidst the celebration, Tyson took on the ICON ride and the towering Big One, and posed for pictures with fans.
The trip came after Fury, 36, announced his retirement from boxing for a fifth time. Posting on Instagram in January following a second defeat to Oleksandr Usyk he said: “Hi everybody. I’m gonna make this short and sweet. I’d like to announce my retirement from boxing.”
Post-retirement, the boxer has been spotted enjoying family outings, including trips to Paris and a recent excursion to Caledonia Park’s popup Comic Con event last month. Pleasure Beach Resort, meanwhile, is gearing up for an exciting year with the debut of the revamped Launch Pad ride.
Although an official launch date remains under wraps, Pleasure Beach Resort’s revamped attraction, formerly known as Ice Blast, is gearing up to wow thrill-seekers by catapulting them 210 feet skywards at a blistering speed of 80mph before they experience a heart-stopping 20-storey drop in a mere two seconds. It promises to deliver ‘a more forceful thrust than riders have felt in recent times’.
Earlier in the month, the amusement park opened its Nickelodeon Land, and for the first time in a decade opened during the February half term – becoming one of the earliest theme parks to do so across the nation. As March unfolds, Pleasure Beach Resort will be welcoming visitors on weekends only, with plans to extend open days to include weekdays as well from April.
Amanda Thompson OBE, Chief Executive Officer of Pleasure Beach Resort, said: “We’re really excited about 2025 at Pleasure Beach. We’re ready for our park to be brought to life again for another season, and for all of our guests to make truly fantastic memories with us.”
