Margot Robbie reflects on ‘insane’ Babylon filming, admits fear of ‘messing up’ epic party scene.

Margot Robbie discussed her ‘wild ride’ filming upcoming new movie Babylon during her appearance on The Graham Norton Show on Friday.

The actress, 32, admitted that she was ‘scared to mess up’ the epic opening party scene which took a huge two weeks to film.

During her interview, she showed off her chic sense of style in a gold velvet suit as she sat on the famous sofa and chatted away.

Speaking about the Hollywood drama, Margot explained: ‘It was a wild ride. There were amazing set pieces, including a party scene that took two weeks to shoot.

‘Every part of it was insane and the stress levels were terrifying because there was so much going on and I didn’t want to be the one to mess it up’

Set in 1920s Hollywood, Babylon centres around the rise and fall of several ambitious dreamers – including the characters portrayed by leading stars Brad Pitt and Margot.

Bullet Train star Brad, 58, takes on the role of famous actor Jack Conrad, who is known for a party-hard lifestyle, multiple marriages, affairs, and divorces.

While Margot is overnight starlet Nellie LaRoy who is navigating her way through the industry by self-destructing via drugs, parties and 𝑠e𝑥ual encounters.

Written and directed by Damien Chazelle, the film shows character Manny Torres (Diego Calva) entering the high-profile world and becoming smitten with Nellie.

It opens with a wild celebrity soiree filled with 𝑠e𝑥, drugs, nudity and booze – which The Wolf Of Wall Street actress Margot previously described as an ‘party-slash-orgy’.

For her appearance Margot completed her look with a black bralet underneath which showed off her taut midriff and wore her blonde tresses swept back with tendrils around her face.

She opted for low-key makeup to show off her naturally pretty features as she beamed away.

Margot’s interview comes after both she and Brad both admitted that they haven’t been to a bash that wild off-screen, despite being some of modern-day Hollywood’s biggest stars.

‘That wild? No,’ Brad quipped to USA Today when questioned, as his Australian co-star echoed his thoughts.

‘I’ve been to some wild parties, but not on Babylon scale. That’s something else,’ Margot agreed.

The flick features a sensational ensemble cast, including Tobey Maguire, Olivia Wilde, Katherine Waterson, Phoebe Tonkin and many more.
