Margot Robbie reveals her husband Tom Ackerley’s secret phobia.

Margot Robbie has revealed her husband Tom Ackerley’s fear of snakes.

The 30-year-old Australian actress spoke about her handsome husband’s phobia when she appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Thursday.

‘My husband hate snakes – he’s English – and you guys don’t have them at all really, in England,’ Margot said to the host.

Margot grew-up in rural Queensland, Australia and has had several brushes with snakes.

However, she said a recent encounter in LA left Tom rattled.

‘They’re everywhere – I’m living in LA and there was a two metre snake just in the garden the other day … he almost had a coronary,’ she said.

She said Tom was unsure what to do about the slithering serpent and wanted to kill it.

‘I was like … no, we don’t kill it, we just gently tell it to go somewhere else,’ she said.

Notoriously private Margot rarely speaks about her marriage to Tom.

She said: ‘We kept it a secret. Because we weren’t really taking it seriously. ‘Oh, whatever, we’re just mates, we’re just mates.’ And then… everyone found out.’

‘It was dramatic,’ she recalled of the moment her friends found out. ‘I’m not going into the details, but s**t hit the fan.

‘Our house turned into The Jerry Springer Show for a moment there. But then the dust settled, and it was all good.
