Never did we ever think we’d see Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s names alongside the word “divorce.” After officially getting together in 2005, they only continued to build upon their blossoming happiness. Since that time and over the past 11 years, they said “I do” (in 2014) and have also added six children to their beautiful family along the way.

Yet, here we are. TMZ reported that the two are separating and Brad even released a statement to People about the split that’s crumbling our world.

“I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids, Brad stated. “I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time.

To make matters even worse for our heavy hearts, we’ve just come across a 2005 W Magazine photoshoot – dubbed the “shoot that started it all” – that’s making us shed teardrops upon our keyboards.
