Starring alongside Emily Blunt in the 2014 movie, Edge of Tomorrow follows Captain Cage who is stuck in a time loop. With aliens attacking Earth, Cage has to team up with Rita Vrataski (Blunt) in order to save the planet.

Since Cage is stuck in a time loop, he has to figure out a way to save the planet while dying again and again and waking up on the same day (like Palm Springs). With the film ending right where it begins, the cut-to-credits scene of Edge of Tomorrow has been praised for being witty and completing the loop.

aptain Cage wakes up a few days later with the news that all the Mimics died due to a mysterious power surge in Paris. He returns to Heathrow to find Vrataski (Emily Blunt) working. Since she doesn’t recognize him, she asks Cruise what he wants. With a smile on his face, the film ends with iconic music with the credits rolling. Fans hailed this as one of the greatest cut-to-credit scenes in the history of cinema.
