Kendrick Lamar, Drake and Tupac’s $ 1 Million Ring

The rapper from “Not Like Us” only wants the Canadian superstar to show him “a little respect.”

As if getting 17,000 people at “The Pop Out” to repeatedly dance on Drake’s grave while performing “Not Like Us” five times in a row wasn’t enough, Kendrick Lamar revealed what it would take for him to “respect” the Toronto superstar.

With the enthusiastic crowd rapping along to the diss track “Euphoria,” K,Dot made a quick lyric change, switching up the line, “Matter of fact, I ain’t even bleed him yet, can I bleed him,” to indicate that if Drake gives him Tupac’s ring, he’ll show the “One Dance” artist “a little respect.”

As previously reported by The Root, back in July 2023, a diamond and ruby ring designed by Tupac Shakur sold at a Sotheby’s auction for $1 million. The buyer’s identity was initially a mystery, but the Canadian star confirmed later that he was the one who purchased it.

Fans were not happy, as this felt like another instance of Drake trying to latch onto someone else’s legacy. An accusation not helped by his recent use of AI versions of Snoop Dogg and Tupac’s voices on “Taylor Made Freestyle.”

The “Alright” rapper referenced this later in the show, telling the Inglewood crowd that they were showing the world what happens when you disrespect West Coast legends.

With his new demand that Drake give him Tupac’s ring, their beef has now reached “Game of Thrones” levels. Seriously, it sounds like Kendrick is summoning the “Certified Lover Boy” to King’s Landing, so he can bend the knee and swear his allegiance to House Lamar. This certainly lines up with several viewers on social media calling the concert Drake’s “red wedding.”

Obviously Drake isn’t going to hand over a ring he paid $1 million for. However, Kendrick’s confidence to even request it shows how thoroughly he destroyed the “Take Care” artist during their infamous beef.

He knows he won and he knows as far as the culture is concerned, there’s no coming back for Drake.
