The massive estate of Papa Murphy’s founder is now available on the market with a price tag of $12.5 million.

A custom-designed mansion in Petaluma, California, named Villa Terra Rosa, built for the late Papa Murphy’s founder Terrance ‘Terry’ Collins and his wife Rose, is currently on the market.

The four-bedroom, five and a half-bathroom property was put on the market by listing agents Nicole Marzo of Compass and Abe Matar of Avenue 8 on May 9.

According to the mansion’s measurements, it takes up around 11,000 square feet of living space and more than 3,500 square feet of non-living space.

The lower level of the house includes a living room, sauna, steam room and wine cellar, and the future homeowner may be able to convert the office into a bedroom if he or she wishes.

It is still being determined if anyone has made an offer just yet, but the mansion on 11 Mount Rose Lane that is available to purchase for $12.5 million has received more than 7,000 views on Zillow.

Terry and his late wife, Rose, originally purchased the California mansion in 2005 and started rebuilding the four-bedroom, five and a half-bathroom property shortly afterward. According to SFGate, the remodel was complete in 2008 and the Collins’ dubbed their new home, Villa Terra Rosa

The Collins’ purchased the mansion in 2005 and spent three years remodeling it.

They eventually named the remodeled property Villa Terra Rosa after their first names and the home’s architectural aesthetic.

Marzo wrote that the property was designed ‘with an Italian hillside village in mind, going over bridges and through water to get home’ in an email to SFGate.

Before entering the mansion adjacent to the Petaluma Golf and Country Club, prospective buyers can get a hillside view of both Sonoma and Marin Counties.

Terry and Rose named their mansion after their first names and the architectural aesthetic they went for during the remodel. Listing agent Nicole Marzo wrote in an email to SFGate that the mansion was designed ‘with an Italian hillside village in mind, going over bridges and through water to get home’

Any potential homeowner who purchases the property will also have access to the fifth golf hole of the Petaluma Golf and Country Club

The Villa Terra Rosa listing reads that the estate, which is 35 acres, includes ‘an olive tree grove evoking the essence of the Tuscan countryside.’ The olive tree is a unique touch to add to an already unique home that was ‘crafted with love, devotion, and the utmost mindfulness.’

During the remodel, Terry and Rose decided to order ‘the finest materials,’ some of which were imported from Italy and France. The property that was also referred to as ‘a European custom castle’ by SFGate is private and serene
