I saw them everywhere on my recent trip

My friends and I talked about everything on our recent vacation across the pond: Our jobs, our recent favorite TV shows, and, of course, Jennifer Lawrence’s style.

So when I logged on bright and early on Monday morning, I was a bit peeved to see one of The Hunger Games star’s ’fits — and not for the reason you might think. She still made my spidey style senses tingle with excitement, but naturally, she was wearing the one thing I desperately wished I had brought on vacation with me: a long-sleeve button-up shirt.

She paired the white hero piece with some loose bottoms in the same color, plus some colorful ballet flats that meshed with the white-on-white look. She also added some shades and a spacious purse.

I am many things, but a light packer is not one of them. Because of this, I always have to take a few items out of my suitcase before heading out the door — and my button-up shirt, which was packed and ready to go, was discarded, and I have no idea why.

They don’t take up much space in a suitcase and can easily be layered over tank tops and tees, or worn as their own pièce de résistance. Plus, everyone abroad was wearing them and it, inevitably, would have fared well for those chilly, gloomy days turned sunny and hot.
