Jey Uso, LA Knight, Drew McIntyre and company start the chaos in Toronto
Jey Uso appears to open the event. The crowd is rooting for him to be the Money In The Bank winner tomorrow, but he is interrupted by L.A. Knight . “The Megastar” was the favorite to win last year and mentions that although Jey Uso may be the most likely to win the briefcase this year, Knight comments that no one in the locker room is going to take away his chance to win. After an exchange of “Yeet’s” and “Yeah’s”, Carmelo Hayes interrupts, who is in turn interrupted by Chad Gable .
Gable asks for some empathy from the crowd because he’s been stalked by The Wyatt Sick6 for the past few weeks and despite that, he hasn’t hidden. Andrade mocks that it’s “everyone’s dream” to win Money In The Bank, but “dreams” don’t win matches, much less one as dangerous as Money In The Bank. Drew McIntyre is the last to appear amid chants of “CM Punk, CM Punk, CM Punk!” McIntyre says Punk isn’t here, but his family is always with him, as he shows off the bracelet he took from him when he attacked him.
Drew McIntyre warns his rivals that if they get in his way, they will suffer the same fate as CM Punk. Now, the Scotsman wants to meet his competition: Andrade, “The Idiot.” Drew feels bad for Gable. Melo has a great future, but he’s looking at HIM. LA Knight can’t win and asks Jey Uso how the hell he crossed the border. The words run out and everyone goes on the attack! LA Knight & Jey Uso team up to attack McIntyre and the two are left standing in the center of the ring , while the other four are on the floor. Everything is set for a great contest.
Bayley says Money In The Bank is a great opportunity, but you also have to have a great mindset to cash in on it at the right time. Chelsea Green interrupts, threatening to win the briefcase tomorrow to cash in on the WWE Women’s Champion. Bayley prefers she come for her when she has the contract in her possession… Piper Niven attacks Bayley! Chelsea says she’ll come for her when she wins after Miss P knocks her down again.
Naomi meets up with Bayley after meeting with Nick Aldis because he asked her for a match against Piper Niven for tonight. “The Glow” reminds her friend that she has her back.
