Brittany Mahomes could not be a more encouraging mother!

In a photo that she made on Instagram Stories on Friday, July 26, the co-owner of the Kansas City Current, who is 28 years old and had previously revealed that her daughter Sterling, who is three years old, will eventually begin playing soccer, proudly matched her daughter’s uniform.

Although she is wearing a black Adidas top, shorts, pink shin guards, and white shoes, the expecting woman is seen in the photograph smiling from ear to ear as she wraps her arms around Sterling. Sterling is also wearing white sneakers.

A bright pink blouse, black shorts, and white Adidas sneakers were worn by the first-year photographer for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. This was done to complement the toddler’s outfit.

Sterling is a place that she and her husband, Patrick Mahomes, share. A son named Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III was born to them on November 28th, 2022. He is also a member of their family. The couple made the announcement earlier in the month of July that they are expecting their third child together.

While Sterling’s father is the quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, Sterling’s mother is also an athlete. She has played soccer in the past, both at the University of Texas-Tyler and with Iceland’s UMF Afturelding. Sterling’s father is now the quarterback for the Chiefs.

On Thursday, July 25, the former soccer player posted a teaser on Instagram Stories, indicating that Sterling would be attending soccer practice while wearing pink.

“Sterling starts soccer tomorrow and she’s gonna be the brightest one out there let me tell ya 😂😂,” she wrote next to a photo of Sterling’s pink shin guards, pink socks, and pink drawstring backpack.

During the month of January 2023, Patrick Mahomes became an investor in the Kansas City Current, which Brittany Mahomes, Chris Mahomes, and Angie Long had co-founded. This led to a greater involvement of soccer in the Mahomes family’s daily lives.

“I am thankful for the chance to join my wife as part of the Kansas City Current’s ownership team. Brittany and the Longs have done an incredible job building a world-class organization. I am excited to join another championship-caliber club as it continues to make history,” he said in a statement at the time.

Brittany echoed similar sentiments, expressing in her own statement, “We are so thrilled to make this a family affair and have Patrick join as an owner.”

“He has been a huge supporter behind-the-scenes. His passion for the Current is undeniable and I am glad that he will be with us as we continue on our journey to become the best in the NWSL,” her statement continued.
