The Canadian takes down Dominik with a dive from the corner, but can’t land a Blue Thunder Bomb. Instead, Dominik hits Sami with a Three Amigos to leave him lying on the mat. Dominik goes for a Frog Splash, but no one was home. Zayn takes advantage of his opponent’s mistake to attack his opponent with an Exploder Suplex into the corner. Sami can’t try to end the fight because JD McDonagh & Carlito show up to distract him.

Zayn has fun chasing away the members of The Judgment Day, something that Domo tries to take advantage of by looking for a “619”. However, Sami manages to react and, now, attack with a “Blue Thunder Bomb”. The match does not continue due to JD & Carlito’s attack on Zayn. | »Winner: Sami Zayn by disqualification.

JD & Carlito continue to attack Sami Zayn after the match, which is why Jey Uso appears to subdue the members of TJD. Zayn was contemplating joining his friend, but gets too distracted and Bron Breakker attacks him from behind. Breakker picks up speed to try to take down Sami once again, but the Intercontinental Champion manages to repel the attack this time. Breakker was about to leave, but returned to the ring only to receive a Helluva Kick. Sami Zayn ends up standing before facing Bron Breakker this Saturday.
