Appearing on the Today show in New York City this morning , a glowing Scarlett Johansson talked to host Matt Lauer about her difficult year.
Looking radiant in a deep blue sleeveless dress and black Louboutin booties, Scarlett said her divorce from actor Ryan Reynolds and the leaking of private nude photographs across the internet, after a hacker cracked into her cell phone, had taught her a lot.
‘I’ve been really fortunate. I’ve found that I had, even in times of crisis, a lot of love around me, and people have come out of all different dark corners to support me,’ she said.
‘That’s been a really beautiful thing. And I think I’ve also learned to be much more tolerant and much more patient.’
Moving on: Scarlett Johansson told the Today show she doesn’t believe in regrets
Scarlett, 27, who was promoting her upcoming film We Bought A Zoo in which she stars with Matt Damon, told Matt Lauer that keeping busy working on films had proved to be just what she needed.
‘There’s a community on film sets and in this industry. It would seem kind of cut-throat, but for me, I’ve been in the industry for 20 years and it has that familial kind of feel,’ the Lost In Translation star explained.
‘When I’m working I can’t focus on anything but the job at hand, and I think that’s some kind of therapy.’

The Iron Man 2 actress had also appeared on Access Hollywood over the weekend and said: ‘I’ve had ups and downs. Certainly, this past year has been a lot of unexpected things in many beautiful ways, many challenging ways.’
‘You just have to kind of embrace it. For me, the most important thing is that it doesn’t affect my work and it doesn’t affect my private life as much as possible,’ she continued.
‘If I could keep that bubble around myself during my work, that is really what’s most important for me.’

When asked if she would ever consider walking down the aisle again, she laughed and said, ‘That’s a deep question that I think probably requires a check for $250, and a couch… lying down.’
The interview comes in the same week that Us Weekly claimed that Reynold’s ex-wife, bombshell Scarlett Johansson, is not happy that the relationship with Lively, his co-star in the film Green Lantern, is progressing so quickly.
‘Scarlett is pissed that he’s not under her spell anymore,’ a source said. ‘Ryan would have gotten back with her. He was so totally in love, but then she flaunted Sean right after their split, and he was done.’
