But Scarlett Johansson proved to be in great spirits as she attended the press conference ahead of her upcoming flick Ghost In The Shell at the Grand Intercontinental Hotel in Seoul, South Korea on Friday.

The 32-year-old actress looked sartorially savvy in a chic beige blouse, which was neatly tucked into a pair of bright pink high-waisted trousers.

‘I don’t think it was just a Japanese story. Ghost in the Shell was a very international story, and it wasn’t just focused on Japanese; it was supposed to be an entire world,’ he explained to Buzzfeed News.

‘That’s why I say the international approach is, I think, the right approach to it,’ he continued.

Drawing on his ‘international’ inspiration, he stated: ‘There (are) all sorts of people and nationalities in the world in Ghost in the Shell.

The film: Ghost In The Shell is based on the Japanese manga of the same name by Masamune Shirow, and previously became an animated film in Japan in 1995

‘We’re utilising people from all over the world. There’s Japanese in it. There’s Chinese in it. There’s English in it. There’s Americans in it.’

Meanwhile, Scarlett’s appearance on SNL earlier this week was the star’s first public appearance since officially filing to divorce husband Dauriac on March 7.
