Practice Jokes of Patrick Mahomes: “Out Here Talking About Nothing”

This led the Kansas City Chiefs, guided by a quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, to use humor to relieve the tension and lighten the mood after facing a hard-hitting defeat from the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday. The team’s recent “Mic’d Up” series had Mahomes himself, who, at 28, could fit into the shoes of a team jester during one of their normal training sessions.

This particular video was uploaded onto their Instagram page, capturing the comic side of his interactions with fellow players and coaches. In one funny incident, Mahomes realized he had forgotten his padded pants before practice.

Lineman Creed Humphrey said in offense, “Dude, I did not put my pants on.” He also tried to make a joke to one of the coaches by saying, “Maybe he’ll think my quads are so big that they look like pants.” A sarcastic response from the coach, “I doubt it,” made it even more funnier.

This video also showed how Mahomes would cheer on other players during practice exercises and exclaim words such as “out the gate!” when some ball is thrown successfully.

For instance, lightness, Mahomes commentated about modern songs playing while warming up, admitting that he was growing distant from contemporary hits. He jokingly said, “It’s just crazy to me how much music I don’t know out here.Like, I know I’m getting old. I listen to all types of music, too. And I just don’t know s— out here. I ain’t never heard this song in my life.”

The Chiefs’ Instagram account posted the following caption: “QB1’s got jokes ?” Also commenting on this post was Mahomes, who wrote jokingly, “out here talking about nothing ???” A day later came this light-hearted post when they played against Jacksonville Jaguars at EverBank Stadium, Jacksonville, Fla., and lost 13-26.

Despite the loss, however, there were some commendable performances, such as a colorful touchdown by rookie running back Carson Steele and a successful 45-yard field goal by kicker Harrison Butker. Mahomes has personal news as he is expecting his third child.

Last month, her wife Brittany joyfully shared through Instagram Reel that they were having a baby. They were recorded on video dancing and laughing with sonograms in their hands while their other children, Sterling, aged only three years, and Bronze, at twenty months. The caption read, “Round three, here we come ?” to mark this addition to their family’s life.
