Beyoncé unveils sultry new whiskey brand SirDavis with tantalizing photo.

Multi-hyphenate Beyonce has founded a brand new whisky.

The songstress, 42, announced the launch of SirDavis, a new American whisky made in collaboration with Moët Hennessy and Master Distiller Dr. Bill Lumsden.

The name of the whisky honors Beyonce‘s paternal great-grandfather, Davis Hogue, a successful moonshiner based in the American South during the Prohibition era.

Hogue hid bottles of his beverage on trees growing on his farms for loved ones to find.

‘I’ve always been drawn to the power and confidence I feel when drinking quality whisky and wanted to invite more people to experience that feeling,’ Beyonce states in a press release, which describes her as ‘a Japanese whisky enthusiast.’

The beverage is named in honor of her paternal great-grandfather Davis Hogue, a successful moonshiner during the Prohibition era

‘When I discovered that my great-grandfather had been a moonshine man, it felt like my love for whisky was fated. SirDavis is a way for me to pay homage to him, uniting us through a new shared legacy.

‘In partnering with Moët Hennessy, we have crafted a delicious American whisky that respects tradition but also empowers people to experience something new and unique in the category. You can taste it better than I could ever tell you — welcome, SirDavis.’

The whisky nods at Beyonce’s Texas roots with a horse emblem on the bottle and the beverage was also finished, blended and bottled in the Lone Star State.

‘Here the complexity of rye is married with the elegance of malted barley. Finished to perfection in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, a harmony of spice with sublime hints of fruit,’ reads a description of the spirit on their website.

Lumsden said of his latest venture: ‘With SirDavis, we looked to challenge the category norms and offer something new in the space,’ he explained in a press release.

‘The distinctive grain selection and unusual secondary maturation in sherry casks helped us achieve a signature profile completely unique to SirDavis, one of bold sophistication.’

The spirit generated critical acclaim well before its release.

Last year, it was anonymously submitted to various elite spirits competition, the press release states.

Beyonce dropped several sizzling snaps promoting the spirit to her Instagram on Tuesday, featuring photos of her in a lace dress

‘DAVIS IN MY BONES,’ she captioned the post, along with two glass emojis and a shout-out to their website

Beyonce seems to have done it all, from fashion to film, and earlier this year she launched a haircare line called Cécred.

Her many business ventures have not stopped her from making music.

Beyonce released her first-ever country album several months ago, Country Carter, and the project contains cameos from Dolly Parton and Miley Cyrus.
