The opulent Bel Air mansion owned by Jennifer Lopez is listed for $42.5 million.

The singer Jennifer Lopez is asking $42.5 million for her seven-year-old Los Angeles mansion. Six months have passed since Lopez and Ben Affleck were married, and only a few weeks have passed before reports of Affleck’s multimillion-dollar contract with Dunkin’ Donuts surfaced, according to ET.

Situated on around eight acres of property, the nearly 14,000-square-foot house is part of the upscale Bel Air community of City of Angels. According to selling agency Carolwood Estates, the property has a 100-seat amphitheater, a vegetable garden, a pagoda with a fire pit, hiking trails, a private lake and beach with an outdoor shower, and a 30-car garage. Basically, the party house of a rockstar.

Originally created in 1940 according to architect Samuel Marx’s original plans, the house was subsequently transformed into a multi-story French Country retreat. In 2016, Lopez paid $28 million to the actress Sela Ward and her business partner Howard Sherman for the property.

Within the main home, a double-height living space with a bar, a massage room, a grand piano, and a fireplace is swept by a dramatic staircase. The kitchen has a center dining island, a rustic chandelier, and wood-beamed ceilings. Past that is a formal dining room with a stone wall and casement windows framing a dining nook.

Other cool amenities include a gym, a game room with a billiards table, a library, a pool with a three-sided infinity edge, and a 30-seat home theater with movie posters of films that the Hollywood couple have starred in. Not to mention nine bedrooms.

Last year, Affleck sold his Los Angeles home for $28.5 million. The couple is reportedly staying in a rental home in Beverly Hills while they look for a new home.
