Disgraced “You” star Chris D’Elia lists his Los Angeles home for $3.75 million, four years after a scandal involving misconduct

Chris D’Elia, a controversial comedian and Netflix star, put his four-bedroom Los Angeles home up for $3,750,000, four years after numerous women accused him of 𝑠e𝑥ual misconduct, which brought down his career.

In the summer of 2020, D’Elia, then forty-four, became embroiled in a bitter controversy after a number of women came forward to say he had sent them explicit messages requesting 𝑠e𝑥, while others said he had groomed them when they were young.

Six months after the stand-up comedian became well-known worldwide by costarring with Penn Badgley in the second season of the popular psychological thriller “You,” the claims were made public.

More than ten women came forward with further accusations against D’Elia in 2023, claiming that he had forced them to engage in 𝑠e𝑥ual practices. D’Elia has refuted all of the charges made against him, according to Rolling Stone.

D’Elia’s career has suffered since the accusations were made public, as a result of multiple venues canceling his stand-up appearances in reaction to the allegations. Even D’Elia was digitally replaced for the film “Army of the Dead.”

Now, the comedian has made the decision to offload his picturesque 3,825-square-foot, four-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home.

The traditional-style home is located in the Hollywood Hills, not far from the Sunset Strip. It offers an open floor plan with the new addition of a den that could be used as an extra bedroom. One room is currently configured as a podcast studio with wood paneling on the wall, bright lights for filming, and a couple of desks.

Its large living room has a fireplace, picture molding, and French doors to the outside. Kitchen amenities include Viking appliances and a large center island, along with a spot for quick dining in the morning. A more formal space can accommodate 12 diners.

The main bedroom is quite luxe, with a fireplace, access to the patio, as well as a bathroom with double sinks, a huge shower, and a deep tub.

There’s also a family room on the upper level with glass doors that lead to the small yard, a solar-heated pool with spa, and a fire pit.

Situated at an elevated altitude, the lush estate is segregated and protected by a guarded approach. The package includes a two-car garage.

The Realtor.com® offering claims that the home’s elevation combined with the mature landscaping creates an incredibly secluded and roomy backyard that is ideal for entertaining, swimming, fireplace al fresco eating, and taking advantage of all that California has to offer in terms of indoor and outdoor living.

D’Elia starred in several TV shows before the accusations against him, such as “Undateable” and “Whitney.” The popular Netflix series “You,” which debuted in December 2019, featured him as Henderson.

He’s still on tour with his stand-up act and hosts the weekly podcast “Congratulations.”
