The asking price of Meghan Markle’s Toronto house is $1.4 million.

Aspirants to the royal lifestyle, we have some good news and some terrible news. Naturally, the bad news comes first. The gorgeous nine-bedroom Montecito estate owned by the Duke and Duchess of Susđť‘ eđť‘Ą is not available for shared use, but you are welcome to reside in Meghan Markle’s former Toronto rental—the exact same house from which she moved into Kensington Palace!

About a week ago, the property located at 10 Yarmouth Road went up for sale, seeking $1.4 million (Daniel Todd Freeman of Freeman Real Estate Ltd. is the listed agent). From 2011 to 2017, the Duchess of Susđť‘ eđť‘Ą resided in the three-bedroom, two-bathroom house while shooting the popular television series Suits. She shared the house with her two dogs and had frequent “under the radar” visits from Prince Harry during that time, according to Realtor.com.

“Meg was excited to show me her life, her dogs, her little house, which she adored,” he wrote in the memoir Spare.

And what’s not to adore? The two-story property is in a tranquil neighborhood called Seaton Village and benefits from special touches like an A-frame roof, a rustic front porch equipped with a Tiffany Blue front door, spa-inspired bathrooms, a detached two-car garage, and an eat-in chef’s kitchen (glossy white cabinets, sleek appliances) with direct access to a lush backyard, which offers tons of shrubbery-powered privacy, an outdoor dining set, and a handy grill.

If you feel that the two-story home is too small for your royal-adjacent lifestyle, the listing does mention the possibility of converting the garage into a 1,330-square-foot guest house.

The interior spaces are subdued, but maybe that’s the point. One can only assume that Meghan found a special kind of peace in the whitewashed walls, a skylight, the modern living room with its neutral color palette, and other elements of the Toronto abode. This kind of peace likely came in handy when news first leaked that the then actor started dating Prince Harry, circa fall of 2016. A year before, Meghan spoke out about how grateful she was for the relative anonymity the home’s location provided. “It’s really funny because I think as much of a big city as Toronto is, it’s so different from L.A. or New York. There [are] no paparazzi so it’s really easy to just have a normal life,” she said in 2015, according to the Standard.

In short? This is one history-packed real estate listing…the history of the Duke and Duchess’s dating journey, that is. If only walls could talk!
