LeBron James was at it again on Sunday night, helping his Los Angeles Lakers overtake the Los Angeles Clippers and score a much-needed victory.
During the tight and exciting game, James was again electric with 25 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists.
One moment in particular garnered a lot of attention from just about everyone.
During the game, James shocked the crowd when he dunked over Paul George of the Clippers.
Millions of fans were astonished by the play and so was NBA legend James Worthy.
“That was the dunk of the century,” Worthy said via Spectrum SportsNet, per ClutchPoints.
It was definitely a moment that Lakers fans will be talking about all season long.
Immediately after the play, social media lit up with replays and images of James getting air and dunking on George.
Everyone was impressed by the moment and even more so because James just turned 39 years old only a few days ago.
Over the last few years, fans have seen fewer dunks like this from James as age has understandably slowed him down just a little bit.
But this dunk looked like something fans would have seen from James years ago.
It was all part of a very important victory for the Lakers.
The 106-103 win over the Clippers stopped their four-game skid and brought them closer to reaching .500.
It wasn’t an easy win but it was an impressive one, and not only because of James’ dunk.
Several other stars stepped up and gave LA fans something to believe in.
The fact that James is still doing this, even if not as frequently, is truly amazing and further confirmation of his status in league history.
Fans were already happy with Sunday night’s results but this dunk over George made them even happier.
