Everyone who’s seen Fast & Furous knows what a tough guy Vin Diesel can be, but even he realised there’s a breaking point.
The actor raced to the home of Paul Walker’s mother after learning about his movie co-star’s death, believing that he could offer some sort of solace.
In a heart-breaking post on his Facebook page on Friday, the 46-year-old actor revealed how he jumped on a plane to California to be by Cheryl Walker’s side just hours after Walker, 40, died in a car crash on November 30.

Vin wrote: ‘When I heard, I immediately flew back to California, and went directly from the plane to his mother’s house…
‘I thought they needed my strength, but realised when I got there and broke down before his family, that it was I who needed theirs.’
The actor went on: ‘His mother hugged me and said I am so sorry… I said sorry? You’re the mother who lost a son?… She said yes, but you lost your other half…’

Walker died when a limited-edition Porsche he was riding in crashed at 3:30p.m. on Saturday, November 30, in Valencia, California.
The driver, Walker’s friend Roger Rodas, also died.
A coroner has concluded the deaths of both Paul and his business partner, Roger Rodas, were an accident, but toxicology tests are still pending in both cases and could take up to eight weeks to complete, according to NBC News.

Paul has left behind his 15-year-old daughter, Meadow, and his girlfriend of seven years Jasmine Pilchard-Gosnell, 23.
The family and friends of the Hollywood star held a private memorial at the site of the crash in Santa Clarita, California, on December 2.
A public memorial service is being planned for December 15.
Production on Fast & Furious 7 was immediately halted following news of Paul’s untimely death, but will resume, the film’s director, James Wan, told TMZ on Friday.
