Goodbye Vegas, Hello New Jersey? Davante Adams Could Be Moving into One of These Luxe Estates

NFL wide receiver Davante Adams was traded from the Las Vegas Raiders to the New York Jets on Tuesday, which means he’s going to need a new place near MetLife Stadium.

Adams will be moving out of an ultra-contemporary mansion in Las Vegas that he bought in 2022 for $11.4 million after signing a five-year $140 million contract with the Raiders. The 10,600-square-foot home is lined with floor-to-ceiling windows, and amenities include a theater/game room and a backyard with a pool, an outdoor kitchen and several lounging areas.

If he’s looking to stick with that sleek, modern style as he makes his move to the East Coast, here are three New Jersey homes he should consider.

Ultra-Modern Mansion in Englewood, New Jersey

If Adams is looking for a near copy of his Vegas home, this Englewood mansion fits the bill. With about 16,000 square feet, six bedrooms and eight and a half bathrooms, it’s even bigger than the Vegas home—which he and his wife, Devanne, might be looking for as the couple is expecting their third child.

Listed for about $13.9 million, the home is “brand-new” and features a two-story living green wall, a four-season loggia room with a fireplace, and an infinity pool, according to the listing with Taylor Lucyk of Christie’s International Real Estate. It’s also equipped with smart-home technology, a home theater and a gym—a necessity for a professional athlete.

Historic Home With Sleek Interiors in Montclair, New Jersey

The trade to New York means Adams will be reuniting with former Green Bay Packer teammate Aaron Rodgers. After his trade to the Jets last year, Rodgers purchased an eight-bedroom home on the border of Montclair and Cedar Grove for $9.5 million. If Adams is looking to be neighbors with Rodgers, this historic manor home, listed for $8.5 million, is less than four miles away.

While the Tudor-style exterior may not look like Adams’s style, the home’s interiors underwent a gut renovation in 2020 to create contemporary living spaces. Interior features include a floating staircase, custom light fixtures and an indoor pool, according to the listing with Sam Joseph of Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty. In addition to the six-bedroom main home, there’s a fully renovated two-bedroom carriage house cottage as well as an outdoor pool.

Brand-New Limestone Mansion in Alpine, New Jersey

Since Adams’s contract runs through the 2026 season, he might want to call this white-limestone mansion in Alpine home—if he’s willing to wait to get something brand new.

Expected to be completed in early 2025, the home’s exterior is manor meets modern, while the interior fully embraces a luxe contemporary style. Asking $15.25 million, the home will span more than 13,000 square feet with eight bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, including a primary suite with two “spa-like” bathrooms, according to the listing with Afsaneh Kiarash of Howard Hanna – Rand Realty. Amenities include a home theater, a gym, a billiards room with a bar and a pool.
