Chinese police capture criminals by using DNA from the blood of dead mosquitoes that bitten them during a break-in.

Two dead mosquitoes helped police in the province of Fujian in southeast China capture a criminal.

It was found that the cops were inspired by the 1993 movie “Jurassic Park,” in which scientists extracted dinosaur DNA from amber-preserved mosquitoes.

Authorities said that the intruder, who came in through the balcony, cooked for himself, spent the night, and then departed the following morning.

The robber reportedly took several more goods as well.

When the police came, they found two dead mosquitoes and blood smears. Since the walls of the living room had recently been painted, they suspected that the burglar had left the blood smears.

Blood samples were taken from the walls.
