In terms of career 3-pointers made, Kevin Durant now sits in 20th place

In the fourth quarter of tonight’s 127-116 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers, Kevin Durant passed J.R. Smith for 20th place on the NBA’s all-time three-point list.

Durant entered this game one three behind Smith and finished 2-of-5 from deep, his second marking his 1,931 career three-point make, which overtook Smith.

Durant now needs 20 more threes to surpass J.J. Redick for 19th place. Suns’ teammate Eric Gordon is currently in 18th place with 1,963 makes.

Durant finished tonight’s game with 21 points on 8-of-16 shooting, six assists and five rebounds.

This was Durant’s 1,018th career regular season game in his 16th NBA season. Durant is currently 10th on the NBA’s all-time scoring list and needs 469 more points to pass Carmelo Anthony for ninth place.

Durant has set plenty of career milestones this season already, and there will be likely many more to come thanks to the longevity of high-level play Durant has sustained even at age 35.
