Marvel Studios has the ideal chance to resolve a Defenders Saga mystery with the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again series, which I never imagined would be included in the MCU following Daredevil’s cancellation. Marvel officially acknowledged in early 2024 that the Defenders Saga, which consisted of six Marvel Television series that were made available on Netflix between 2015 and 2019, is part of the MCU canon. I was thrilled because this meant that some of Daredevil’s most troublesome loose ends would be resolved in the next Daredevil: Born Again series.

Much of the original cast of Daredevil has already been confirmed to be returning in Marvel Studios’ upcoming Daredevil: Born Again, including Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Wilson Bethel, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson and more. With the series expected to pick up a number of years after Daredevil season 3’s finale, however, I’m very interested to see how these characters and stories have changed. Daredevil: Born Again can also finally address some of Daredevil’s biggest mysteries, and bringing back yet another character would accomplish this.
