Seth Rollins didn’t hold back when discussing Hulk Hogan getting booed during WWE Raw’s Netflix debut, saying, “I’m happy to see it. I love to see it.”
Like so many people, Seth Rollins was a fan of Hulk Hogan. But in 2025, being a Hulkamaniac doesn’t work for Rollins, brother. Appearing on the NFL Network’s Good Morning Football, Rollins talked about the upcoming Super Bowl and his Chicago Bears. He was then asked about Hogan getting booed on Netflix.
“I am all for people getting what they deserve,” said Rollins. “That’s how I feel about Hulk Hogan getting booed on. If you are getting booed by the masses, there’s a reason for it.”
In January, WWE’s flagship show, Raw, debuted on Netflix. It was a big night for the wrestling company, as The Rock, Travis Scott, and other celebrities were on hand to mark the occasion. Hulk Hogan, who helped lead WWE to prominence in the 1980s, was also there with his manager, Jimmy Hart, to plug his new beer and promote the show.
However, fans in attendance were not feeling the power of Hulkamania. Instead, they showered him with an endless chorus of boos.
While it was an embarrassing moment for WWE and Hogan, it wasn’t all that surprising. In 2015, WWE fired Hulk Hogan after racist remarks from a secretly recorded video were made public. During the recording, Hogan used racial slurs, saying, “I’m a racist to a point,” while making other disparaging comments about race and wealth.
As Rollins pointed out, Hogan has yet to fully take responsibility for his comments.
“I do think there’s some responsibility that he needs to own up to that he hasn’t yet. Maybe when he finally figures that out, (he) might be able to move forward with our fans,” said Rollins.
Earlier this week, Hogan appeared on The Pat McAfee Show, where he discussed the crowd’s rejection of him on Raw. Hogan, a supporter of President Donald Trump, attributed the jeers to his political leanings, telling McAfee, “I think the politics had a whole to do with it.”
McAfee immediately chimed in, “And also some other stuff,” alluding to Hogan’s racist remarks. “Yeah, of course,” Hogan replied before laughing it off.
Hulk Hogan: “But I think the politics had a lot to do with that reaction.”
Pat McAfee: “And some other stuff”
Hulk Hogan: “Yeah, of course.”

Perhaps Hogan will eventually realize the extent of his actions and offer a sincere apology to the public. As Rollins suggested, that could allow Hogan and the fans to move forward. Until then, Rollins believes Hogan deserves whatever comes his way and is all for it.
“I don’t know if Hulk fully understands the scope, but people get what they deserve. I’m happy to see it. I love to see it,” said Rollins.
