Logan Paul is upset about what John Cena did to him at the Royal Rumble

Logan Paul was eliminated by John Cena this past weekend at WWE Royal Rumble, and he isn’t happy about it.

Paul uploaded a 10+ minute vlog to his YouTube channel where he gives a backstage look at his Royal Rumble experience. This includes some of the nerves that went into planning his leap to the commentary table, a quick chat with hardcore legend Mick Foley, and laughing at IShowSpeed’s destruction at the hands of Bron Breakker, among other things.

Paul doesn’t spend much time at all talking about Cena, but the brief part about John is still important enough for him to title the full video “John Cena Betrayed Me.”

Here’s what Logan had to say backstage after he became the final wrestler who John Cena will ever eliminate from a Royal Rumble match:

“I feel a little bit betrayed by John Cena, if I’m being honest. I looked up to him my whole life. And he just tossed me out, like what am I trash? I did his show, bro. We drove around in a car for three hours together. And he throws me over the rope?”

The rumor mill has mostly dismissed the idea that John Cena vs. Logan Paul will happen at WrestleMania 41 in April, but Logan’s reaction and the video title make me think it’s still possible. During the Royal Rumble post-show press conference, Triple H essentially tried to discredit the reporting that’s out there about WWE’s WrestleMania 41 plans by claiming none of them have any idea what is planned for the show. If that’s true, then maybe all this talk about Cena vs. Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania will amount to nothing.

If Cena fails to win next month’s Elimination Chamber, then he still needs some kind of non-title match at WrestleMania 41. In that case, maybe Cena’s final WrestleMania match really will be against a YouTube douchebag. At the very least, Cena and Paul may come to blows at Elimination Chamber if Paul can qualify for the match next week on Raw when he takes on Rey Mysterio.

Do you think John Cena vs. Logan Paul is a good idea for a match at WrestleMania 41? If not, who do you think John will work with in Las Vegas? Let me know in the comments below, Cagesiders.
