Conor McGregor is heading to Italy! The Irish superstar is set to be part of the upcoming Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) press conference in Florence on February 16. And if there’s one thing McGregor knows how to do—aside from throwing left hands—it’s stirring up excitement.
But here’s the kicker: Dana White had his own plans for Italy. He had once teased the possibility of a fight for the ages inside the Colosseum. Do you remember? If not, it was supposed to be an epic showdown between the two tech giants, Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg.
In an appearance on the ‘Hotboxin with Mike Tyson’ Podcast, the UFC boss had stated, “We were talking about the Colosseum for that fight, and I actually did have a meeting with the Minister of Culture’s team in Italy to actually hold that fight in the Colosseum if it would happen.”
Yet, while the dream of a billionaire brawl faded into the background, BKFC and McGregor have now moved ahead. Their upcoming event will take place in the historic Roman Amphitheater of Florence in April 2025. As the organization proudly stated, “Where ancient gladiators once clashed, a new generation of fighters will return!”

Others were more interested to know when the Irish MMA icon would be heading ‘Down Under’ to bring the BKFC to Australia. Well, in a post on Instagram, the BKFC recently shared, “BKFC IS COMING TO THE LAND DOWN UNDER THIS YEAR
