Every WWE WrestleMania 41 match confirmed so far as Jey Uso picks his opponent

WWE is officially on the road to WrestleMania 41 and the first match of the showpiece event has been confirmed.

WrestleMania is the biggest yearly event in pro wrestling and WWE has a job on its hands to make this year’s as epic as the last.

WrestleMania 40 saw The Rock return to the ring to partner Roman Reigns on night one before Cody Rhodes finally finished his story by dethroning the Tribal Chief from the top of the company on night two.

That’s not to mention Damian Priest’s cash-in on Drew McIntyre and great matches like Sami Zayn vs Gunther, IYO SKY vs Bayley and Kevin Owens vs Randy Orton vs Logan Paul.

WrestleMania 41 has a lot to live up to and the first match of the two-night event has now been confirmed.

WrestleMania 41 matches

Uso will take on Gunther in a rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship. He said on the February 11 episode of RAW after taking a beating from the champion: “I probably shouldn’t say this, me and you at WrestleMania.”

It’s not yet clear if ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso will actually get the main event slot on one of the nights despite winning the Rumble, but he’s doing his best to earn it.

What else will be on WrestleMania 41?

Some fans have been growing concerned over the state of the rumored card for Mania 41, as it appears a lot of compromises are being dealt out.

Shock Royal Rumble winner Jey Uso had already made it clear who he would be choosing to face at WrestleMania 41 and the match is now official.

The direction for Roman Reigns appears to be a Triple Threat alongside CM Punk and Seth Rollins, with the latter being the most obvious pin-eater ever.

Triple H does deserve some leeway for potential surprises given no one called the Rumble winner, so perhaps Punk could win the Chamber to challenge Cody Rhodes.

However, all directions suggest John Cena will be facing the American Nightmare in his final Mania instead.

Charlotte Flair has not yet confirmed which champion she will be choosing at Mania, leaving Tiffany Stratton and Rhea Ripley’s matches up in the air.

Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn seems a guarantee but Logan Paul’s marquee match is not obvious yet, either.
