Russell Wilson is predicted to sign with a disappointing NFC team.

The focus around the NFL landscape will soon turn to free agency, with several intriguing names potentially changing their scenery.

One of the more talked about quarterbacks set to hit the open market when free agency begins on March 12 is Russell Wilson of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

After one season with the Steelers, Wilson may be moving on to his fourth NFL franchise in a legendary career.

Wilson played the first 10 seasons of his career with the Seattle Seahawks, followed by two seasons with the Denver Broncos before spending 2024 in Pittsburgh.

On Tuesday, Zack Cook at SportsGrid predicted Wilson would sign with the New Orleans Saints.

After missing the start of the season due to injury, Wilson started 11 regular-season games for the Steelers, completing 63.7% of his passes for 2,482 yards, 16 touchdowns and five interceptions.

In the Steelers’ playoff game, a 28-14 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, Wilson completed 20-of-29 passes for 270 yards and two touchdowns.

A move to New Orleans would place Wilson in position to be coached by first-year coach Kellen Moore. The Saints fired Dennis Allen in November on their way to a 5-12 season.

Moore recently served as the offensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles, helping lead the franchise to a 40-22 blowout victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.
