Russell Wilson’s NFL future may be up in the air, but the former Pittsburgh Steelers starting quarterback appeared to enjoy his time at the Oscars with wife Ciara over the weekend.
While Wilson is preparing to enter NFL free agency, his future with the Steelers is a big question mark, and the team may ultimately choose between the 36-year-old and his former teammate, Justin Fields.
However, before Wilson begins planning for his professional future, he dropped a (sarcastic?) hint to his wife in the form of a comment on the singer’s post showing off her Oscars dress. After Ciara posted that Wilson was her “own award” she took home, the quarterback hilariously summed up how much of a fan of her dress he was.
The duo has four children together, and Wilson was insinuating/joking about the potential for baby No. 5.
The first of their children is Wilson’s stepson from Ciara’s previous relationship with Future. They also have two daughters and one son, born between 2017 and 2023.
The 2024 season marked Wilson’s first with the Steelers, signing a one-year deal with the franchise after a two-year stint with the Denver Broncos.
Wilson started 11 games, completing 63.7 percent of his passes for 2,482 yards, 16 touchdowns and five interceptions. He rushed for two additional scores while leading the Steelers to a 6-5 record while under center, although the team suffered a first-round exit in the playoffs, falling to the division rival Baltimore Ravens 28-14.
