Tyson Fury’s promoter delivers verdict on his future amid rumours of a potential retirement U-turn to face Anthony Joshua

Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum has offered advice to Tyson Fury over his future following the heavyweight’s shock retirement in January.

Fury announced he was hanging his gloves up for good at the start of the year after losing twice to Oleksandr Usyk in 2024.

But there have been rumours in recent weeks that he could perform a U-turn to settle his rivalry with Anthony Joshua, and Eddie Hearn has not given up hope of the two Brits facing each other later this year.

Arum, however, who has promoted Fury alongside Frank Warren since 2019, has urged the Gypsy King to stay true to his word and remain retired.
