According to police, officers responded to a 911 call about a disturbance involving weapons at a residence on William Nye Drive. Initial reports suggested that shots had been fired and that a woman was taken back into the home. Upon arrival, officers encountered two male suspects fleeing the scene. One returned to the house while the other, identified as Young Scooter, attempted to escape by jumping two fences. During this escape, he reportedly sustained a severe leg injury, believed to be a fracture, which ultimately led to his death at Grady Hospital.
