The wife of NFL star Patrick Mahomes is making a name for herself
Patrick Mahomes is the name on every sports fan’s lips this week as the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback aims to win his third Super Bowl on Sunday. But attention has briefly turned to his wife Brittany after it was announced she would be starring as a rookie in the latest issue of Sports Illustrated.
NFL star Mahomes has graced the cover of the famous magazine on a number of occasions, so maybe he will be glad his wife Brittany is getting her share of the spotlight.

The mother-of-two shared her news on Thursday with a series of images from her photoshoot, which was set on the Caribbean island of Belize.
Brittany rocked a variety of red one-pieces and bikinis in a series of different shots, with one featuring her resting against a palm tree by the beach.
The former pro soccer player is a regular presence at Arrowhead Stadium and, rightly or wrongly, captures just as much attention away from the football field as the Chiefs star these days.
S.I. Swim editor M.J. Day explained their decision to feature Brittany as their famous WAG this year in their special edition 60th anniversary issue in May 2024.
“Owner of the Kansas City Current NWSL team, former pro athlete, wife and mother, Brittany emerges as the epitome of a modern-day powerhouse,” the description read.
“Founder of the world’s first ever dedicated stadium for women’s sports, Brittany‘s journey has surpassed all expectations, inspiring others with her tenacity and unyielding determination.
“We are proud to welcome her to the SI Swimsuit family where she will undoubtedly continue to empower women worldwide.”

Brittany Mahomes delighted with opportunity
Naturally, the opportunity to feature in one of the most renowned sports magazines is something Brittany was delighted to accept, and she admitted she was left shocked when she got the call.
“I’m truly just so humbled and still in disbelief,” Mahomes told the publication.
“As a girl from Tyler, Texas, who only really knew sports, never in a million years did I think I’d be in the SI Swimsuit Issue. I’m just so grateful for this opportunity.”
