Machine Gun Kelly got a shocking blackout tattoo to prove to Megan Fox that he is 100% committed to their relationship – as insiders reveal what the actress REALLY thinks about the dramatic new ink.

Machine Gun Kelly‘s shocking new body art is an attempt to show his girlfriend, Megan Fox, that he ‘can change for the benefit of their relationship,’ insiders have claimed.

The musician, 33, shocked fans on Tuesday when he revealed his blackout tattoo, which covers his upper body and both arms, just days after Megan, 37, showed off her dramatic new inking at the People’s Choice Awards.

MGK – real name Colson Baker – told fans that the inking was for ‘spiritual purposes,’ but he reportedly made the change as a ‘testament’ to his relationship with the Jennifer’s Body actress.

‘Colson has told Megan that one major reason he did his latest blackout tattoo was not only for a spiritual reason, but he also wanted her to know he did it for her,’ an insider told DailyMail.com exclusively.

The couple have been in an on-again/off-again relationship since 2020

‘He wants her to know that no matter what one does with their own body, they both share each other and his body is her body and he also wants to remove so much confusion from his previous tattoos.

‘He wants to move the confusion that ends up in their relationship from time to time and show her he can change for the benefit of himself and their relationship.’

The source explained that MGK is determined to show his dedication to moving forward in a more positive nature as a couple so they can begin to make ‘a new love bond.’

The insider added: ‘He wanted to let her know that the new ink was also a testament to her and where they can go from here, that as much joy they have had with each other, he wants it to be a blank space and make new memories and make a new love bond with each other.’

They finished: ‘It sounds very deep, but it is genuine and Megan is eating it up and loves it.’

MGK, whose original tattoos can be seen in underneath patches on his arms and a giant cross on his chest, unveiled the new look on Instagram, noting that the body art required ’44 needles.’

Elsewhere, his tattoo artist Roxx told TMZ that the rock star engaged in a ‘spiritual consultation’ before diving into the process.

During this session, MGK conveyed to her that his existing tattoos no longer resonated with his current mindset, calling them ‘chaotic.’

She also said the process started in mid-December, with MGK visiting her private LA studio four days a week for 13 six-hour sessions.

The artist still has some work to go on the musician, adding that the project is ‘one of the biggest she’s done in such a short time.’

She then went on to make headlines again when plastic surgery rumors emerged after her appearance at the Super Bowl.

The Transformers star responded to critics, attributing the alteration of her image to a ‘shadowy’ photo.

However, her rebuttal sparked controversy as she proudly claimed that ‘in reality,’ she resembles a ‘super expensive silicone real 𝑠e𝑥 doll’ from Japan.

‘Oh my god guys look how different i…dont look at all,’ she began her bizarre post. ‘Turns out it was just a shadowy cell phone pic of me looking like a Ukrainian blowup doll. when in REALITY i look like one of those super expensive silicone real 𝑠e𝑥 dolls you can only get in Japan.’

The couple, who have been in an on-again/off-again relationship since 2020, were recently revealed to have suffered a devastating miscarriage.

In her book of poetry, Pretty Boys Are Poisonous, Megan wrote about an ultrasound of a baby girl at 10 weeks and a day and said: ‘maybe if you hadn’t… maybe if I had…’

She continues: ‘I want to hold your hand / hear your laugh, but now / I have to say / goodbye,’ and later adds, ‘I close my eyes and imagine holding you tight against my chest as they rip you from my insides’.

Elsewhere in the book, she writes: ‘I will pay any price. Tell me please / what is the ransom / for her soul?’

The actress later said she had ‘never been through anything like that before in my life,’ as she opened up about putting pen to paper during an interview on Good Morning America.

‘It was very difficult for both of us,’ she explained. ‘And it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately, and together and apart, and together and apart, and together and apart, trying to navigate, “What does this mean? Why did this happen?'”

Megan told how it was Colson who first encouraged her to write.

‘The person who actually told me I should write a poetry book is Colson,’ she said.

‘It was something inside of me that had to come out or else it was going to make me sick. Some of it is definitely a metaphor.

‘None of it is what I would say fictional. Those are all real life experiences that I had.’
