Vinicius Junior has taken to social media to show off his tattoo depicting Kobe Bryant, Pele, Michael Jordan and Muhammad Ali.
The tattoo, seen on Vinicius’ back, shows Ali’s iconic celebration after beating Sonny Liston and Pele’s celebration after winning the 1970 World Cup with Brazil.
The Brazilian international’s tattoo also pays homage to the NBA with both Bryant and Jordan featuring on his back.
Vinicius added the words ‘mentality’ and ‘black lives matter‘ after being racially abused 10 times inside a Spanish football stadium this year.
The tattoo is said to have taken eight hours to complete, with LA-based tattoo artist GANGA revealing all the details about the design on his social media page.

GANGA shared a video of himself working on Vinicius back with the following caption: ‘It’s been great to end 2023 with this incredible full back tattoo done in 8 hours for my bro Vinicius, always with my team’.
Vinicius has been pictured enjoying his time off – having been seen spending time with LeBron James at the Christmas game against the Boston Celtics.
Vinicius signed a new four-year deal with Real Madrid, the LaLiga giants earlier this year. The contract extension will keep the Brazil international at the Santiago Bernabeu until June 2027.
Vinicius joined Los Blancos aged 18 in 2018 and has gone on to make 235 appearances, scoring 63 goals and winning nine major trophies, including two LaLiga titles.
The 23-year-old scored the winner as Real beat Liverpool in the Champions League final in 2022 to win a 14th European Cup.
The Brazilian’s spell in LaLiga, however, has been marred by racist abuse. He was allegedly racially abused as he was substituted in injury time during Real’s 2-1 win over Barcelona on Saturday.

LaLiga acknowledged the incident and said it had launched an investigation.
‘LaLiga has been working from the outset to identify the individuals involved in making racist insults and will file the relevant charges as is always the case,’ the statement read.
‘We are coordinating with the Mossos d’Esquadra [Catalan police] and FC Barcelona.’
