Margot Robbie rocks uncomfortable Oscar statue look at Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

Margot Robbie wore one of her most daring outfits to date at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday evening.

The Barbie star, 33, turned heads at the bash, held at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, in a gold beaded corset bodysuit by Thierry Mugler from the late French designer’s 90s archives.

She paired the showgirl-style ensemble with a bronze satin shawl and gold strappy stilettos which were tied all the way up her calves.

The Aussie beauty kept her bedhead style waves she had at the awards show and her makeup had been touched up.

At times, Margot appeared uncomfortable as she posed for several photos on the red carpet.

She did let out a little giggle as she finished posing and made her way inside.

The star was joined by her husband Tom Ackerley at the bash, and the pair caught up with Saltburn producer Josey McNamara.

It comes after the actress’ stylist was slammed for dressing the star in an ‘unflattering’ outfit at the awards show.

Margot ditched her trademark Barbie pink in favour of a shimmery back Versace gown with a sloped neckline and unusual draping at the hips.

For accessories, Margot wore a two-toned gold cuff and matching ring by Fred Leighton.

Critics have rushed to social media to express their disappointment with Margot’s look, branding her outfit as underwhelming and uncomplimentary to her curvy physique.

‘She should have owned the carpet. This is… not even renting,’ one user lamented, as another added: ‘Such a boring look. Come on.’

‘The most epic and stylish fashion streak of all time ended with this absolutely boring yawn of a dress,’ another commented, referring to Margot’s much-celebrated red carpet publicity tour for Barbie.’

‘So disappointed! I was expecting EPIC,’ they added.

Others took aim at Margot’s hair, which was left out and styled with a slight bed-head texture.
