Margot Robbie has been spotted enjoying a date night with her husband Tom Ackerley, in a rare public sighting together.

In photos obtained by the Daily Mail, the couple stepped out in Studio City, California to grab a bite to eat. The duo dressed casually while in seemingly matching outfits. The Suicide Squad star wore an oversized beige knit jumper over a white button-down shirt.

Both Robbie and Ackerley have been notoriously private about their relationship. The pair met in 2013 while working on the movie Suite Française, in which she starred in and he was the third assistant to the director. They then married in 2016 in a secret Byron Bay ceremony.

Back in 2018, the Bombshell star shared a rare glimpse into her relationship with her husband.

“I’m a great advocate of doing business with your partner,” she told PORTER magazine at the time. “Being married is actually the most fun ever, life got way more fun somehow. I have a responsibility being someone’s wife, I want to be better.”

“Even if we both have to fly to a country in-between where we both are for one night, we’ll do it and then fly back to work the next day,” she added. “And we speak all day, every day on the phone.”
