She’s more curvy than that!Beyonce faces Photoshop backlash over W magazine picture.

Beyonce is at the centre of a new Photoshopping storm after fans of the singer claimed an image of her has been heavily edited to create a thigh gap.

The pop star is known for her womanly curves, but social media users took exception to a photoshoot posted on W magazine’s Instagram feed on Monday.

With the 34-year-old’s new album Lemonade a big talking point this week, the fashion mag shared a 2011 image of the star looking super skinny.

Posting the five year old photo on their official Instagram, the caption read: ‘God she might not be, but #Lemonade proves that it’s still @Beyonce’s world, and we just live in it. See more on wmag.com. #Beyonce photographed by @PatrickDemarchelier, styled by @AlexWhiteEdits; W Magazine July 2011.’

The glossy image showed Beyonce showing off her figure in Nica Ricci bra and knickers, while wearing a silk Gucci shrug, hat and knee-high boots.

However, it appears the old image seemed to outrage more fans than please with most of the comments claiming it had been too heavily edited.

Curves ahoy: Beyonce, pictured performing at the Super Bowl in February, is renowned for her curves and shapely thighs

One fan accused of Beyonce looking unrecognisable: ‘Odd that you would use Jada Pinkett Smith’s face and @halleberry’s body to create Beyonce. Shame shame @wmag and @patrickdemarchelier.’

One follower froggy1104 wrote: ‘Why all the photoshop? She’s more curvy than that and everybody knows it..’

Another yankigrl_grays_mom added: ‘Oh wow they photoshopped the heck out of Bey! WTF is wrong with you @wmag you should be celebrating her curves instead you make her look like the stick thin fake white girls. She’s a proud and curvy black woman, can’t you stop shaming black women?’

Hitting out: Fans took to W magazine’s Instagram to express their disdain over the edited finish of the photo of Beyonce

Outraged the_wyld_one said: ‘That Photoshop is pathetic. Fake at thigh gap she’s ever had. Why waste your time. She’s perfect without that c**p.’

It’s not the first time Beyonce has been at the centre of a thigh-gap storm after the singer herself has been accused of editing her own images on her Instagram and Tumblr feed.

Back in 2014, photos of the mother-of-one playing golf in a pair of short shorts and also in a bikini on a yacht were both accused by fans of being edited to make her legs look slimmer.

Under fire: The singer was previously accused of editing a photo of herself on a yacht in summer 2014, with the stairs between her thighs appearing warped

A photo of Beyonce playing golf in spring 2014 caused a debate over whether her thigh gap was real or not
