Dune 3: Messiah – Teaser Trailer | Timothée Chalamet, Anya Taylor-Joy

Arrakis’s barren sands are stirring again. “Dune: Messiah,” the third entry in the internationally acclaimed “Dune” trilogy, has been formally announced by Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures. This new chapter, which is based on Frank Herbert’s sequel novel, looks to go even further into the intricate and engrossing world of “Dune,” with Timothée Chalamet returning to play Paul Atreides and Anya Taylor-Joy joining the cast as his adult sister, Alia Atreides.

“Dune: Messiah” picks up several years after the events of “Dune: Part Two,” following Paul Atreides’ ascension to Emperor. The film will explore the consequences of his rule, the burdens of prophecy, and the intricate political machinations that threaten his empire. As Paul grapples with the moral complexities of his messianic role, he must also confront new dangers and old enemies.

Anya Taylor-Joy steps into the role of Alia Atreides, Paul’s enigmatic and powerful sister, whose presence adds a new dynamic to the narrative. Alia, born with the knowledge and powers of the Bene Gesserit, becomes a central figure in the unfolding drama, as she navigates her own path amidst the political intrigue of the empire.
