Matthew Perry’s Los Angeles home is listed for $5.2 million.

Matthew Perry added even another Los Angeles home to his real estate holdings before he passed away in October 2023 at the age of 54. The actor, producer, and comedian, best known for his Emmy-nominated work as Chandler Bing on the sitcom Friends, sold a sleek midcentury-modern Hollywood Hills mansion for just under $5 million in an off-market transaction. The property was previously offered for about $6 million. Now that it’s back on the market, the asking price for that property is $5.2 million.

Renovated recently, this 1957-built home is perched on an almost quarter-acre lot above Sunset Strip. With three bedrooms and four bathrooms spread across slightly more than 2,500 square feet of single-level living space, the all-white building is fronted by a broad yet short driveway that empties into an attached two-car garage, a privacy screen, and an asymmetrical set of steps leading up to an atrium-style entryway. The interior features a mix of stone and blonde hardwood floors. Fleetwood sliding glass doors open to a covered lounging area with fire pit and pool views.

Highlights include an office nook and an adjoining living area connected by a two-way fireplace to a formal dining area turned billiards room. The living area is situated next to a sleek kitchen with stainless appliances, a chic backsplash, and an eat-in peninsula lit by three pendant lights. All of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, with two designated as “very chic screening rooms” with surround sound and a projector, and one as the main retreat with a walk-in closet and a spa-inspired bathroom with dual vanities, a rectangular soaking tub, and a glass-encased shower.

Apart from the Hollywood Hills residence, Perry—who published his first book, Friends, Lovers, and The Big Terrible Thing, a memoir in which he discloses his battles with a Vicodin addiction—also possessed a modern Pacific Palisades cottage, which he bought in 2020 for precisely $6 million. According to an autopsy done by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner, he passed away there from the “acute effects of ketamine.”
