In this enchanted family journey, Mindy takes in Angel, a lively pony who, so the story goes, will bring its owner to wealth hidden in the neighboring mountains. Mindy and her schoolmates trek into the hills to save the pony and search for the missing gold after a crazy treasure hunter kidnaps Angel. However, Mindy meets a mountain man who informs her that the treasure is tied to a long-forgotten curse and that removing the gold will result in the destruction of the lovely forest. Mindy must now make a difficult choice.
