Bron Breakker had a resounding victory over Sami Zayn at WWE SummerSlam 2024 to become the new Intercontinental Champion.

Sami Zayn put himself to the test again against Bron Breakker when he put the Intercontinental Championship on the line during WWE SummerSlam 2024 in Cleveland.

Bron Breakker has had a meteoric rise on WWE’s main roster, taking out every rival who has tried to stop him. After coming to terms with his loss to the Canadian at WWE Money In The Bank 2024 , “The Wolf Dog” vowed that he would no longer speculate in the fight to become one of the youngest champions in WWE history.

Sami Zayn vs Bron Breaker

Bron Breakker attacks the champion in the corner. Although Sami Zayn tries to react, Bron imposes the conditions and then knocks him down from the top of the corner with a “Hurracarrana”; the cover he makes ends up in two. The Canadian has a hard time reacting, but manages to surprise the challenger with a “Blue Thunder Bomb”; the count ends in two.

The champion celebrates early, so Bron Breakker surprises him with a “Spear” in the center of the ring. Breakker propels himself again, this time at full speed on the ropes, to repeat the dose against Sami Zayn and takes the victory. Bron Breakker is the new WWE Intercontinental Champion!
