At Chiefs training camp, a standout wide receiver catches a pass from Patrick Mahomes.

The Kansas City Chiefs’ new-look receiving corps has been on fire during the team’s practice sessions at training camp and provided fans with several highlight plays during Sunday’s workouts.

One of the most impressive came from second-year pass catcher Nikko Remigio, who has become a cult favorite among fans in St. Joseph for his enthusiasm and effort during drills.

While sharing the field with Patrick Mahomes yesterday, Remigio pulled in a pretty pass after running an exceptionally clean route against one of Kansas City’s defensive backs.

Check out this video of his exceptional play below, which was posted by user @KingdomKast on Twitter:

Though Remigio may struggle to find snaps in the Chiefs’ offense during the regular season, his performance at training camp may force Andy Reid to keep him on Kansas City’s 53-man roster.

Expect to see Remigio in action during the Chiefs’ preseason matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars on August 10.
