She rocketed to A-list superstardom as a blonde bombshell following her star turn in Lost In Translation.
But on Wednesday, Scarlett Johansson debuted a completely new, darker transformation for her latest role in the new movie Chef.
The actress was pictured in LA on the set of Jon Favreau’s star-studded comedy on Wednesday, rocking a brunette hairstyle with a Bettie Page-style fringe.

Scarlett, 28, who is a fan of tattoos, showed off two new inkings, a star on each shoulder, although it appears they may have been added on by the make-up department for her role in the film.
In two different outfits for the movie Scarlett looked effortlessly ๐ e๐ฅy as always.
She was first seen in a black netted dress with a white undergarment and black strappy heels.

While details of Scarlett’s character in the film are small, she certainly looks as though she could break a few hearts.
Scarlett is no stranger to being called upon to be ๐ e๐ฅy for a role, often seen playing a blonde temptress on screen in films as diverse as Vicky Christina Barcelona and He’s Just Not That Into You.
Occasionally it can work against the star, as it was revealed in 2011 that she had missed out on the lead role in Girl With The Dragon Tattoo because she was ‘too ๐ e๐ฅy’.

‘It was a great audition,’ Director David Fincher told Vogue, ‘but the thing with Scarlett is, you canโt wait for her to take her clothes off.’
Although recently it seemed to work in her favour, when she replaced the acclaimed actress Samantha Morton in the new Spike Jonze film Her.
Samantha had already completed work on the movie, though the scenes were cut and re-worked with Scarlett in her place.
